I kept passing this book up because I thought it was going to be H.L. fingerpicking intermediate series. They are good books for people just reaching the intermediate level. Besides searching for new books, I spend a lot of time on you tube looking for solo guitar artist. That's when I came across the author of this book (Steve Howell) he plays and sings every one of these songs...these are advanced arrangements. By the way, the words are not in the book, that would've been a plus. Anyway, if you learn these songs and play them in a jazz club or at an open mike night, people will be saying: isn't that so and so, I didn't know he could play like that. But, don't listen to me, listen to him on you tube and judge for yourself. I can't sing and would still sound horrible in front of some impressive guitar playing.
