The description said 2 floats but one reviewer said only 1 bur they say 2 because you can use it as a chair or flip out the seat pad to make it a lounge My surprise when there were 2 floats in the box. they are quite comfortable and stable in the water. I feel safe enough with it set up more like a lounge i can even take a nap (not smart but safe)Although this shows one float with the leg extension and one float without, this comes from this seller with two identical floats. The dark blue seat portion of the floats unfold and becomes your leg extension. I use it primarily with the extension in the closed position. I can let my feet dangle in the water or I can pull them up onto the seat. We have a rough surface pool and I would have thought the rough surface would tear the float but it has not. I use it daily and love it. I have two stainless drink containers; one fits in one of the two cup holders while the larger drink vessel does not but that's okay, I just place it in the seat next to me and I'm happy. I have my coffee and water by my side. With the leg extension closed, your butt only gets wet when you climb on and off the float. With the extension open, the surface that you sit on is mesh so your tush will be in the water.When you get off the float, it might seem as though it has a leak but it's just the air somehow getting displaced and will return to normal shortly.Both chairs have an attached leg rest, the leg rest ripped on both seats with in hours. They need to engineer a better design. I ended up ripping the leg rest off and the kids use just the seats. Would look at other floats I do not recommend this one.
