This set of sheet music for Bach's 'The Art of The Fugue', BWV 1080 is on large pages which are 9" x 12" along with very defined print; the notes are easily read, so practicing this unbelievably complicated set of counterpoint themes is at least made easy on the eyes. I chose this volume particularly because it was edited for the solo piano by Czerny, reducing the effort of sight reading the original score that can be found on IMSLP.I have about 4 different editor editions of this score in pdf format and finally caved in to have this beautifully produced score ready for my keyboard without the aid of a computer screen. It is also used as the source of a pianist playing it on YouTube. It finally comes down to wanting a hard copy of one of the most outstanding, complicated, and robust formats of Western classical music in counterpoint. No pianist's library is complete without this and I cannot resist just spending the rest of my musical practice years on this book.It is a pleasure to open the pages and see the score so finely printed, and so wonderful to see that first 4 voice fugue's starting stanzas just waiting for my interpretation on the keyboard. I hope others will also add this book to their library of great music and read it like you would a newspaper, or feel the notes pass by when reading it while listening to a keyboard playing 'The Art of The Fugue'.
