I got this as a gift. Although beautiful and well executed, it is a flawed idea.1. Very difficult to fill without spilling seed all over the place.2. so awkward to fill, I dropped it and it shattered3. I found that birds had a difficult time approaching it. I added a perch which helped.4. If a small bird does go into the feeder, you risk bird poop contaminating the seed.5. It is pretty to look at.
