I disliked this recording at first, because I felt that Fuchs took too much liberty in performing this Baroque music with Romantic style. However, the more I listen, the more I appreciate it. I think it is good to listen to artists with a variety of interpretations. Fuchs is not lacking in technique, flair, or inspiration either. This compilation is a real treasure for lovers of the viola.
